PRESIDENT

Dr. Henri Michael von Blanquet is a Physician and a Medical and Health Sciences Strategist, and Healthcare Executive with 25+ years of experience in Clinical Medicine, Hospital Operations, Strategic Consulting, and Innovation Leadership.

As graduate and Alumnus of the Universities of Heidelberg, Paris, and Kiel (Master of Hospital Management), he has combined frontline medical practice with senior roles in Hospital Management (Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin), M&A in the Healthcare Sector, and Executive Advisory for Precision Medicine and Digital Transformation. He has led major strategic initiatives across Europe, advised global institutions including the President of the Salk Institute Dr. Elizabeth Blackburn, Distinguished Professor and Nobel Laureate.

He resides on Föhr Island in the North Sea, where since 2003 he has led the transformation of healthcare leadership by founding the Health Captains Think Tank (originally SÜNJHAID! = Health! & RÜNJHAID! = Wealth!), a multi-professional, multi-generational, multi‑stakeholder Leadership Forum grounded in Island Tradition of Doctors Island Kos (Hippocrates of Kos = Father of Medicine) and Captains Island Föhr towards the Tipping Point for the 6th Kondratieff: The 6th Kondratieff is the next long-wave economic cycle, powered by sustainable value-based Healthcare, Health Longevity Medicine, Scientific Wellbeing, and the Convergence of Medicine, digital-molecular Innovation, and One Health Lifecare.

In 2010, Dr. von Blanquet became President of the Circle of Friends of the North Frisian Islands—a Cultural and Medical Knowledge Network and Think Tank connecting Föhr, Amrum, Sylt, Kos, and the Medicinale.

With the outbreak of COVID‑19 in 2020, he launched the multi‑professional, international Health Captains Club, where he serves as President and Chair of the Medical Board, now comprising about 300 Members across DACH, EUROPE and beyond and started the scaling of the Membership via THE HELATH CAPTAINS CLUB Twin-Chapters from >5 to >50 Twin-Chapter, Topic-Chapters and Talent-Chapters for 360º Next Generation Leadership towards value-based Lifecare.

Dr. von Blanquet is the Founding Director of The Health Captains Institute, a strategic Hub focused on University and Academic Medical Center with Health Foundations Collaboration, the Convergence of value-based Healthcare, Healthy Longevity, Blue Zone Community Care, and One Health Lifecare—aiming to create together a sustainable Health Industry.

In Mentorship and Leadership cultivation, Dr. von Blanquet founded The Health Captains College, with 5 Academies for Lifecare, Governance, Leadership, Mentorship and Entrepreneurship—designed to shape next-generation international, multi-professional leadership across Medicine, Health Systems, Startups, and Policy in Europe and beyond.

Beyond the Club, he chairs HEALTHCAPTAINS+COMPANY, the Health Captains’ Advisory Profit Center working with founder- and owner-level Leaders to scale “Leadership for 360º Next Generation Lifecare. The Healthy Longevity Company.”

Dr. von Blanquet also initiated the Precision Medicine Alliance (PMA), a platform to develop scalable SOP`s for implementing Precision Medicine at scale in clinical contexts. His extensive professional background includes roles as Medical Director at Molecular Health GmbH, executive roles in Hospital Management in Berlin, and consultancy experience in strategic Healthcare Firms.

He holds a Master’s in Hospital Management from the University of Kiel, completed medical studies in Heidelberg and Paris, and earned his Doctorate at the German Cancer Research Center and the Institute for Immunology at Heidelberg University.

His leadership Vision is summed up in the motto “We don’t know what we don’t know – Exploring the Unexplored: Leadership for exploring sustainable Health”, guiding THCC’s mission toward 360º Next‑Generation Lifecare powered by Superconvergence, integrating Innovation, Technology, and Global Collaboration to navigate sustainable Health Transformation.
